#GivingTuesday Is December 3 – Help Save Destination Healthy Skin!

All around the world, the #GivingTuesday spirit of unity inspires hundreds of millions of people to do good. It’s a beautiful thing!

As a friend of the Foundation, you know that early detection can reduce the risk of a long, hard battle with skin cancer. Early detection can make the difference between life and death. And early detection is at the heart of Destination Healthy Skin, our mobile free skin cancer screening and education program.

This #GivingTuesday the need is urgent. The future of Destination Healthy Skin is in jeopardy because our 14-year-old RV simply will not last another year. We have raised 36 percent of our $500,000 goal to purchase a new RV that will keep us on the road, saving lives for years to come. Please give what you can to help us reach our goal to Save Destination Healthy Skin!

Since the program launched, our team of volunteer dermatologists has:

  • Provided 32,000 free skin cancer screenings.
  • Identified nearly 13,000 potential skin cancers and precancers, including 600 suspected melanomas.
  • Distributed free skin cancer educational materials and sun protection products to more than 100,000 people.

And we’re not done yet! We are on the road right now, and will be wrapping up our 2024 season later this month.
