The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is #GivingTuesday. Each year, this global generosity movement reminds us that when we team up, we can make a profound difference. All around the world, the #GivingTuesday spirit of unity inspires hundreds of millions of people to do good. It’s a beautiful thing!

Giving Tuesday is the perfect day to team up to fight skin cancer. With more than 5 million cases diagnosed in the United States each year, skin cancer is America’s most common cancer. Early detection can reduce the risk of a long, hard battle with skin cancer. Early detection can make the difference between life and death. And early detection is at the heart of Destination Healthy Skin, our mobile free skin cancer screening and education program.

This #GivingTuesday, the need is urgent. The future of Destination Healthy Skin is in jeopardy because our 14-year-old RV will not last another year. Your gift brings us closer to reaching our goal, replacing our RV and continuing our journey for years to come!

Since the program launched, our team of volunteer dermatologists has:

Provided 32,000 free skin cancer screenings.
Identified nearly 13,000 potential skin cancers and precancers, including 600 suspected melanomas.
Distributed free skin cancer educational materials and sun protection products to more than 100,000 people.
